Google has launched this new language feature for Indian users, now you can also see the search results in these local languages.
Google said it has seen a 10-fold increase in Hindi queries in India. It is also now making it easier for Google users to change the language of their choice on Google Assistant and Search. Users can choose the language of their choice by going to this app settings.
GOOGLE today announced four new language features in India at its L10 event. The new features will support most of the Indian languages in various Google products. GOOGLE has also announced its new multilingual model MuRIL in India. GOOGLE search in India shows results in both English and Hindi. Users can toggle between the two languages for just one tap search query.
GOOGLE said it has seen a 10-fold increase in Hindi questions in India. This time they are now adding support for four other Indian languages, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, and Marathi. GOOGLE search will start showing results in more Indian languages. It will work for local language queries typed in English and is intended to benefit bilingual users who prefer to read articles in both English and Indian languages.
The new update will be available in Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu from next month. Google is making it easy for users to change the language of their choice on Google Assistant Search. Users will be able to select the language of their choice by going to the app settings.
Google said that one-third of assistant users in India use the app in the Indian language. And more than 50% of users watch Discover content in Indian languages. Google Lens is getting an interesting feature called homework that can solve math problems. These features are available in Hindi and English. All users have to do is snap a picture of a math problem to use Google Lens. And a video of each step will be shown to understand the problem.
