OMG! Google is about to shut down your Gmail account

Yes, you read that right. Google may close your Gmail account soon. Google has made preparations for this. Google is introducing new policies for its user account, effective June 1 next year. In addition, if you have been inactive for two years on Gmail, Drive, or Google Photos, the company may remove your content from your own products in which you Are inactive.

The company said Wednesday that the new policies are for user accounts that are inactive or have exceeded storage capacity on Gmail, Drive (including Google Docs, sheets, slides, drawings, forms, and gem board files).

Your current Gmail data may also disappear
The company said, "If your account has a storage limit of more than 2 years, then Google may remove Gmail, Drive, and Photos from your content." In addition, the company has said it will notify users several times before attempting to remove content. In that case, the easiest way to keep your account active whenever you sign in or work on the Internet is to periodically open your Gmail, Drive, or Photo. Apart from this, a passive account manager can also help you manage your specific content.

"If you need more than your free 15 GB of storage, you can upgrade to a larger storage plan with Google One," the company added.
