Know how to take university exam from 25/6/2020 as per UGC Guidelines

The lockdown has been declared in the country to control the epidemic of Covid - 19. The Government of India and the state government has been given to prevent the transition of corona virus,

which is currently fully closed by the purpose of following the instructions of social distancing. Covid - 19 Mentor instructions have been circulated by the letter of UG.C.2020, by keeping the ads of college / universities and starting the entry process and educational work for the next academic year. Considering all these facts, the Gujarat State was under consideration of the Government of the organize the examinations for the College / University of Gujarat and the next academic year 2020-21.


 At the end of the careful consideration, planning the examination for the state's college / university exams and to start the next academic year 2020-21 entry process and educational work, the following instructions are made.

Examination (exam)

1. According to the UGC guideline, the terminal / final semester / year examinations of the UG Course / Program will be taken from the .25.06.2020 and the first year of P.6 courses / program and the terminal / final semester

Strict adherence to the guidelines on the use of masks, social distance and sanitizer during these examinations.

2.  The duration of the examination should be two hours instead of three hours.  And will have to take the exam in multiple shifts if required.  Examination centers should be set up at taluka level / local level for conducting the examination.

 3.  In case the epidemic situation of coVID-19 does not become normal and the guidelines of social distance cannot be followed, 50% marks will be given to the students of Intermediate Semester 4, 5, 6 on the basis of internal assessment and the remaining 30% marks will be given immediately on the basis of previous semester will remain.  This scheme will be named Merit Based Progression.  In addition, it can be evaluated as per the guidelines of UGC.
