Impact of BS6, Renault Up to 2 Lakh Discount on This Car

Many models of the French car maker Renault are available in the Indian automobile market.  The company's entry-level car, Renault Kwid, is quite popular in India.  There is not much time left to implement BS6 emission norms in India.  New Emission Norms will be implemented in India from April 1, 2020.  This means that the registration and sale of BS4 vehicles will be stopped after March 31, 2020 in India.  The company is offering discounts on its BS4 cars.

Renault Tiber - Up to Rs. 15,000 Discount:

This is one of the cheapest MPVs in India.  The company is offering a loyalty discount of Rs 10,000 and a cash discount of Rs 5,000 on the car.

Renault Quid - 64000 rupees discount

The company has this entry-level car.  A pre-facelift BS4 version of Quid offers a cash discount of Rs 50000, a corporate discount of Rs 4000 and a loyalty bonus of Rs 10000.

Renault Capture - Cash discount up to Rs 2 lakh

This is the company's premium SUV.  The company is currently offering a cash discount of Rs 2 lakh on this car.  A corporate discount of Rs 20000 and a Rural Custom benefit of Rs 10,000 is also available on the BS4 version of the car.

Renault Duster - Offers up to 2 lakhs

Renault is offering up to Rs 2 lakh on this popular car.  There is a corporate discount of Rs 10,000 and a loyalty discount of Rs 20,000.

In India, the new BS6 rule has been in effect from April 1, 2020.  According to this rule, many vehicle sales in the market will be closed from April 1.  So Renault has decided to discontinue the Duster with a 1.5-liter diesel engine due to reduced demand.  In addition, the company is also removing MPV Lodgy.  From April 1, all vehicles in the Renault portfolio will be available in the petrol version of Kwid, Triber, Captur and Duster.
